Coming from a looooong journey where there was much MUCH suffering starting at a young age where the conflict between my parents and my oldest sister growing up was loud, where I couldn’t hear my own thoughts, and the enemy had a foothold in our beautiful family God so deeply called to be shining lights to those around us.

 

My VOICE was the first part of me to be attacked. Both Spiritually AND physically.

 

At 5 I went to speech therapy from having so many temper tantrums from not being able to communicate with my words my feeling and thoughts at home - it got so bad that I was a HAIR close to having vocal surgery 👀

 

It was at that same age that my mom and dad got me the biggest blessing - A VIOLIN - and for the first time I was able to express what I needed to pour out with something LIKE a voice. That’s when I started developing my voice. It followed with being in choirs, orchestras, and on the stage performing in various ways!

 

But the enemy still tried to attack and silence my voice. With abusive and narcissistic relationships with men who rushed me and wouldn’t listen, with friends who got offended from my boldness and passion, and with my own broken identity and self worth. The lies just kept flooding in.

 

This business was the start of freeing my voice. It started with the most awkward YouTube videos where one time I published a YouTube video and my sister Andrea watched and called me afraid to hurt my feelings but sharing later on in the convo that it kinda looked like a 1980s porno…yeah you’ll have to watch this one cause I would 1000% agree it DID in fact match up to that…😅

 

But I kept after it.

 

The thing that REALLY ended up freeing my voice wasn’t public speaking classes, learning how to perform, or the speech therapy. Those things were all tools and part of the process.

 

But what REALLY freed my voice was learning God’s love - and most importantly - how to RECEIVE God’s love to the fullness He pours it out. And it’s a “work in progress” as always with anything.

 

There is power in YOUR voice. But only to the woman who knows how to release the Lord’s power through her mouthpiece.

Your voice is an instrument - no - a WEAPON that when you learn how to use it…and what’s causing it to be blocked and muzzled and *silenced* you will unlock the power that the voice holds.
